The little shop at the corner of Bent Street  - Fine Hand Crafts for over 25 years

Liam Denevan

In the early 90's I met some professional blacksmiths and started attending ABANA conferences. By attending weekend workshops at the Artist Blacksmith Association of North America I learned many metal working techniques and met many fine blacksmith who were very helpful and willing to teach me what they knew and would let me work in their shops learning by watching and doing.

For years I earned a living working as a fire fighter Heliattack crew member for the California Department of Forestry, as an underwater welder and medic in Louisiana and as a medic in California. Blacksmithing was always a hobby. In 1995 I decided to become a full-time professional blacksmith.
